Have you ever lost a business deal because you committed a faux pas? What have you learned about the importance of etiquette in business?

What about international etiquette – have you run into misunderstandings when traveling because you didn’t know the local culture very well? Have you learned something about international etiquette while traveling abroad on a Rotary project, at a convention, on vacation, or for work?
